SpagoBI 2.0 International Preview at JavaOne 2008

San Francisco, CA, USA - May 6th, 2008 - The OW2 Consortium announces the forthcoming release of the 2.0 version of SpagoBI, the Free Business Intelligence Platform. The preview of SpagoBI 2.0 is presented during the exhibition at the OW2 Village. The release of the beta version will be available next June, 2008.

SpagoBI 2.0 offers many new functionalities that help the decision making and operative users to analyze and profile their current and strategic business. The new graphic interface, simple and attractive, allows an easy use of the various analytical documents managed by a consolidated and architecturally reinforced platform. Main modules of the platform are:

  • SpagoBI Server, the already known BI platform with many updates
  • SpagoBI Studio, the new integrated development environment
  • SpagoBI Meta, the environment focused on metadata
  • SpagoBI SDK, the integration layer to use SpagoBI from external tools
  • SpagoBI Applications, to collect the vertical analytical models built using SpagoBI
More SpagoBI 2.0 presentations are coming: the Italian preview at Forum PA (Rome, Italy) – May 12-15; the French preview in Paris, France, next June.
