Hi Walter,
in order to upload the file you should add the attribute caUpload as follows:

I tested your template and now it works,
kind regards,
Monica
Hi,
the prompt button to upload the file only works with the DATASET tag attribute type = "file". If you want to use SpagoBI dataset just reference it as comma in the SCRIPT tag within the datasets attribute. I don't understand the snippet of code you posted, so please take a look at the following post and try to see if it helps.

Hi,
it all depends on the attribute type that can be "file" (for uploaded file) or "spagobi_ds" in case you want to use an existing SpagoBI dataset. In the second case you can benefit of the behavioural model of SpagoBI (analytical drivers, profile attributes etc) as well as different data sources managed by SpagoBI datasets.
Remember that he resultset will be converted in a csv file, and that's how you must use it in the script, referring it by "name" attribute.

Another note: for SpagoBI dataset, you must put the exact dataset label in the attribute spagobiLabel. Moreover in order to use those datasets in your script code, you must reference them in the attribute datasets of the SCRIPT tag (comma separated dataset names).
Kind regards
Hi,
great job you did!
Here a some help:
SpagoBI parameters (Analytical drivers) are only attached to the R document from doc Detail, and are used by the eventual SpagoBI dataset associated to the Data minind script.
Variables instead can be used to change the behaviour of the script, and can be changed from the GUI. Here a small example:

Variables in this template can be applied to the whole command as "subset" and "select" (and to change their value you just need to double click on the command tab name) or to the output itself. Run this doc and it will be self explanative!
Cheers
Hi,
this is the same issue I answered in https://www.spagoworld.org/jforum/posts/list/3368.page.
By the moment the only cockpit that you can execute on the mobile app are Mobile Cockpit, that use Mobile Report or/and Mobile Chart. These 3 document types have been created to run only in SpagoBIMobileEngine application.
Here a sample of the cockpit template for mobile:

As mentioned in the other post, support for the full set of SpagoBIMobile, will be provided in the next releases.
Hope it helps,
Monica
Hi,
this is the correct behaviour: Mobile Report is a special purpose document that can only be executed in SpagoBI Mobile, as well as Mobile Chart and Cockpit.
The template must be develped manually (no Studio support).This is a sample:

Future developments will supply every document type execution through the mobile app.

Monica
Hi,
you can play around with the outputs to display, but no other customization is available.
What you can do, is obviously to edit the jsp/js code.
Regards,
Monica
Just to be clearer, you're right, but plugins are free. SpagoBI uses an open source product (ExtJS 3) that generates Flash, so SpagoBI for this configuration is fully MPL v2.
Thank you for your interest!

Monica
Hi,
the installation/configuration of R and JRI is the problem for sure.
Try to use R 3.0.x and install the rJava package through R command: install.packages('rJava'). This is the safest way.
As a second step be sure to set R_HOME and add to the environment variables, both the the path to R/bin and JRI/bin.
Another thing to be sure of is to configure the datamining folder under /resources (under the application server root), with read/write permissions.
Moreover set the java.library.path as explained in the wiki page together with the other steps (http://wiki.spagobi.org/xwiki/bin/view/spagobi_server/Data+Mining+Engine+installation).

Hope it works!!

Hi,
the Worksheet uses ExtJS 3, but there's no concern about Flash (i.e. integrated components are open). If you still don't like using Flash, since version 5 there is another option: you could develop a new Cockpit document, with ExtJS 4 (that uses SVG and VML for charts), with the FOSS exception.
Any contribution is appreciated to refactor the Worksheet to enable it to use ExtJS 4.
Let us know!

Hi,
here the detailed operations.
I suppose that you have already created the db on Mysql through the proper create scripts. If the problem is what I think, than table SBI_FUNCTIONS should be empty.
If it is so, you can apply the workaround:

I suggest you to execute the insert statement for table sbi_functions to create the root functionalities folder (reported below) in your mysql database when SpagoBI is stopped.

INSERT INTO SBI_FUNCTIONS VALUES(30,'LOW_FUNCT',NULL,'Functionalities','Functionalities','/Functionalities','Functionalities',1,37,'server',NULL,NULL,current_date(),NULL,NULL,'3.5.0',NULL,NULL,NULL,'SPAGOBI');

Once the row for the main 'Functionalities' foltder is committed, you can update the table HIBERNATE_SEQUENCES as follows

INSERT INTO HIBERNATE_SEQUENCES VALUES('SBI_FUNCTIONS',1);

Hope it helps!
Monica

Hi,
first of all, remember that the R-script code is embedded in the template. On the other hand the datasets used by the script can be uploaded directly by the SpagoBI user as in the example provided below.Another option is to link a SpagoBI dataset (which is the resultset of a query of any type) stored as a CSV file.

This is a simple template with just one dataset, one script and one output.
If executed for the first time, the user must provide its own dataset, called "ds1". There is a button for the upload operation. The csv file used by this script, looks like the following :

Remember the simple rule: ds1 (the dataset name) is the reference to the dataset data.frame in the script code.

Another very simple template used for sampling is the following:

Here there is no dataset, but 2 outputs.
Hope it helps!

Hi!
to change the chart you could try to get back to the previous meters visualisation , accessing the file webapps\SpagoBI\WEB-INF\conf\engines\kpi\publishers.xml, by uncommenting the commented items and vice-versa.
<PUBLISHER name="KPI_DEFAULT_PUB">
<RENDERING channel="PORTLET" mode="" type="JSP">
<RESOURCES>
<ITEM mode="VIEW" resource="/WEB-INF/jsp/engines/kpi/custom/kpi.jsp"/>
<!--<ITEM mode="VIEW" resource="/WEB-INF/jsp/engines/kpi/default/kpi.jsp"/>-->
<ITEM mode="EDIT" resource="/WEB-INF/jsp/commons/edit.jsp"/>
</RESOURCES>
</RENDERING>
<RENDERING channel="HTTP" mode="" type="JSP">
<RESOURCES>
<ITEM prog="0" resource="/WEB-INF/jsp/engines/kpi/custom/kpi.jsp"/>
<!--<ITEM mode="VIEW" resource="/WEB-INF/jsp/engines/kpi/default/kpi.jsp"/>-->
</RESOURCES>
</RENDERING>
</PUBLISHER>
Due to the fact that IE 8 didn't support D3 js libraries, we force further IE versions to behave like a IE8, and execute highcharts speedometers.

Of course:
http://forge.ow2.org/project/showfiles.php?group_id=204
and then download mysql-dbscript-4.2.0_10042014.zip in the "SpagoBI 4.2 - Script db" package.

Regards,
Monica
Hi,
you have to execute the proper creation script for MySql, that you can download from OW2 site.
This scripts provide the creation of tables.
What do you mean by "group"? SpagoBI doesn't manage groups...
Monica
