Linux install of Studio and QBE [SOLVED]

Hi,

I've got Studio 2.5.0 installed both on Windows using the windows binary and on Linux using the Linux binary. The reason for installing the Linux version is that I have a problem reported and I hoped it wouldn't happen under Linux (http://www.spagoworld.org/jforum/posts/list/104.page).

Under Windows if I open the Java perspective and I choose new, I can see the Hibernate folder with content. Under Linux if I do exactly the same, I do not see the Hibernate folder nor the content, which makes it impossible to create my datamart.

I run Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.

Any reason why?

Hi,

Does anyone know how to import those plugins. Since the hibernate ones seem to be missing on the linux install. I've tried to copy them accros but that does not work.

Your help would be much appreciated.

you are right, in linux version Hibernate plugin are missing,
I would suggest you to install them using the eclipse update manager
