SpagoWorld projects are both free and open source software: you can study, use, modify and distribute modified copies of this software under the terms of the attending license. The license details of each project are available at the project webpages or in the software package.
SpagoBI and Spago4Q software are provided under the terms of the Mozilla Public License v. 2.0 without the “Incompatible With Secondary Licenses” notice.
Spagic is provided under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation, either version 3.0 of the License, or any later version.
The SpagoWorld licenses encourage a wide adoption of the software, having two main characteristics:
- they are weak copyleft licenses, based on the protection of their free/open source code;
- they are commercial friendly licenses: free/open source code can be “linked” to open source and proprietary third-party software.
SpagoWorld software is provided on an “as is” basis, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. If you wish to have warranties on SpagoWorld software, you can have supporting services that are clearly separated from your right to study, use, distribute, modify and distribute modified copies of this software.
SpagoWorld software and project documentation are protected by a license. All those who use and/or contribute to SpagoWorld software projects shall respect the applicable laws and regulations, their licenses and the guiding principles for the use of copyrighted material.
