Gabriele is Architectures & Consulting Director within the Research & Innovation Division of Engineering Group. He has held senior management positions at Engineering Group in project and product management for large enterprises and the public administration, in software process improvement & quality assurance and in the definition of innovative architectural solutions. He contributed to the development and start-up of Engineering Group’s quality system and to the achievement of ISO 9001:2000 and SW-CMMI certifications. He is active in project management activities and software engineering, coordinating various projects within Engineering Group, where he is also a focal point for open source initiatives.
In 2004 he founded SpagoWorld initiative (www.spagoworld.org). He is currently member of the SpagoWorld Executive Board and of OW2 Consortium Board of Directors (www.ow2.org), where he promotes several activities and initiatives. He is also active in the community of Eclipse Foundation (www.eclipse.org) and in the FLOSS Competence Center international network (www.flosscc.org). He has contributed to some Italian and European IT research projects, focusing on open source. Committed to students’ and IT professionals’ education, he has lectured at Engineering Group's ICT Training School "Enrico Della Valle" on Software Engineering & Quality. He regularly gives seminars within bachelor’s and master’s degrees in various universities, located inside and outside Italy. From 2006 to 2008 he was Open Source Software adjunct professor at the Department of Mathematics, Computer Science degree, at the University of Padua, Italy. He currently cooperates with various research institutes, universities and students, through workshops, presentations, internships and degree thesis support.

Antonio is Senior Technical Manager at Engineering Group and founder of Spagic project. Well-experienced in the IT field, he has worked in several market sectors (industry, finance, public administration), covering several thematic areas. He has also consolidated experience in open source software as well as in middleware and business intelligence solutions. At present, he is working within the Architectures and Consulting unit, Research & Innovation Division, with a particular focus on open source and SOA/BPM project propositions. He is a member of the SpagoWorld Executive Board and Engineering Group’s representative inside the Eclipse SOA initiative.

Stefano has long working experience in the IT field. Initially involved in European research projects on hypertext technology, he then undertook the technical management of complex projects in several technological areas such as document and workflow applications, web based applications, enterprise portals and business intelligence applications. At present, he is working within the Research & Innovation Division, as a member of SpagoWorld Executive Board. He masters the domains of service-oriented architectures and Business Intelligence, with a particular focus on open source solutions.

Adelina is in charge of SpagoWorld communications and deals with the open source marketing activities of the Research & Innovation Division. Furthermore, she supports the management activities related to the European Research Projects within Engineering Ingegneria Informatica. She has an arts degree and within the last years she has gained organizational and communication skills.

Cristina is in charge of the Spagoworld Communications and Open Source Marketing activities within the Research & Innovation Division at Engineering Group. Italian and French native speaker, she has a full mark degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures. With strong English and German knowledge, she has experience in the organizational and translation field.
