We are pleased to introduce you some collaborators belonging to organizations and companies contributing to the growth of SpagoWorld projects. Behind every name, there is a person with his/her history, made of knowledge, experience, talent and passion. The descriptions are updated according to the information provided at the beginning of the contribution.

We hope the number of contributors may continue to increase in time.

Ernesto Damiani - Professor, DIT - University of Milan - Italy

Ernesto Damiani is currently a Professor in the Department of Information Technology, University of Milan (Italy). He has held visiting positions at George Mason University, Fairfax, VA, La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia, and the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia. His research interests include knowledge extraction and processing, secure mobile, software process engineering, and open source. He contributes to the definition of the Spago4Q meta-model.
Alberto Colombo - Researcher, DIT - University of Milan - Italy

Alberto Colombo is currently working at the University of Milan (Italy) as Research Collaborator on TEKNE, an Italian funded project on business process automation. His research interests involve software engineering including process modelling, software requirements, and process measurement.
He contributes to the definition of the Spago4Q meta-model.

Fulvio Frati - Researcher, DIT - University of Milan - Italy

Fulvio Frati has been a Research Collaborator in the Information Technology Department, University of Milan (Italy), since February 2005. His research interests are in the areas of software engineering, Java programming, information security, distributed computing, access control, open source in e-Government scenario, and virtualization.
He contributes to the definition of the Spago4Q meta-model.

Amit Rana - Developer

Amit is currently attending the International Master in Information Technology at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna of Pisa (Italy). He achieved his Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering at the Mumbai University (India) and has a two years working experience in an important Indian IT Consultancy services company, in the field of Data Warehousing. Since May 2008 he is contributing to SpagoBI 2.0, with a special focus on code refactoring and the integration of the Qooxdoo AJAX.
Gaurav Jauhri - Developer

Gaurav is a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from India with a Master's Degree in Information and Technology from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, Pisa, Italy. He had working experiences as a Software Developer in a telecom domain for major clients and was also engaged in projects in the public sector and chip designing enterprise. He is contributing to SpagoBI 2.0, in particular to integrate the Qooxdoo Ajax based framework.
Sven Werlen - Developer - Savoir Faire Linux

Sven is presently working as a consultant and developer at Savoir Faire Linux, a Canadian company. He has great skills and experience in open source solutions both at system level (Linux operating system and several open source databases) and at application level, particularly the ERP Compiere, the ETL Talend and the SpagoBI Business Intelligence platform. He contributed to the integration of Liferay 5.2 with SpagoBI 2.0.
Charly Clairmont - Chief Technology Officer - Altic

Charly Clairmont is Altic's Chief Technical Officer. With Marc Sallières he co-founded Altic in 2004. Expert in the New Technologies of Information and Communication, he took part in several projects of web content management and thin client web interface both in start-up and bigger organization. He contributes to several Open Source projects like SpagoBI, JasperReports, Talend, eXo, eHour.
Daniela Butano - Spago Architect & Spagic Developer

Daniela is an IT Solution Architect and Software Developer in Cambridge, UK. She has worked at Engineering Group with valuable expertise in web application design and development, enterprise portal development, J2EE open source frameworks and SOA environment. At present, she is Spago architect and contributes to Spagic development.
Chiara Chiarelli - Developer

Chiara has been Web Developer for SpagoBI suite and Spago4Q platform. She obtained her Computer Science master's degree at the University of Padua, Italy. She has solid theoretical basis thanks to her university degree and good practical competences thanks to one-year study in the Engineering School ENSEIRB in Bordeaux (France). Before joining SpagoBI team, she had gained work experience in an important enterprise in the USA, testing a software for big networks management.
Stefano Rova - Developer - Engineering Group

Stefano has been working for Engineering since April 2007, after a three-year software developing experience in the telecommunication field. He is currently working as software developer on projects in the Healthcare and Public Administration market. He contributes to the integration of Spagic within these projects, customizing the solution and developing new features.
Alessandro Pegoraro - Developer - Engineering Group

Alessandro has obtained his postgraduate degree in Software Engineering at the University of Bologna (Italy). He is software developer at Engineering Group, where he participates in the development of various projects within the Department for health care and local governments. With valuable expertise in the data warehousing domain, he is currently in charge of the evolutionary maintenance of the labour information system, based on SpagoBI suite. He has taken part in SpagoBI security improvement, by contributing a new password encryption module and other minor changes.
Marco Battaglia - Technology Leader - Quantyca

Marco is technology leader at Quantyca. He has a degree in Philosophy. For several years, he has been working on IT projects using open source tools.
He has contributed to SpagoBI suite, by enhancing the GeoReport engine, supporting the geographical data analysis.
