Engineering Group presents two new open source projects at the Eclipse Day in Rome

The first release of Eclipse eBAM and eBPM projects contributes to the realisation of XaaS (Anything as a Service) platforms.
Rome, 7th September 2010 – The Italian edition of the Eclipse Day, the first international event organized by Eclipse Foundation in collaboration with Engineering Group in Rome, is taking place on 5th October 2010.
Testimonials include Deutsche Post DHL and the Veneto Region, which will present their open source software use cases, within a selection of international best practices concerning service-oriented architectures, integration, interoperability and the recent IT industry trends, such as cloud computing and the XaaS model.
In particular, Engineering Group will present two new Eclipse projects, as the project leader, of which the first release is already available:
- eBAM (extended Business Activity Monitoring www.eclipse.org/ebam), the advanced platform for the monitoring of heterogeneous services and applications and for the historical analysis of data.
- eBPM (eclipse Business Process Management www.eclipse.org/ebpm), the complete Business Process Management solution, based on the OSGi standards and Eclipse Equinox project.
