Roadmap of GeoBI initiative, the open community making open source Location Intelligence adoption pervasive

The following activities, listed in the Roadmap, have been planned within the initiative.
The (name of the project), specified at the end of each activity, refers to the solution that will benefit from the developed software. The Roadmap is periodically revised by the Technical Committee.

UI and interactivity

• UI improvement for GEO/GIS engine. New end-user interface to work with GEO and GIS engine in the same way (SpagoBI/GeoReport/MapFish)
• On-line filters. Easy-to-use filters for an interactive analysis of the business data shown on the maps (SpagoBI/GeoReport/MapFish)
• Multivariate analysis, to show many analytical measures at the same time over the same map (SpagoBI/GeoReport)

Basic LI engines

• Spatial OLAP (SpagoBI/GeoMondrian)

Advanced LI engines

• Spatial QbE (SpagoBI)

Infrastructure and metadata

• Spatial ETL (SpagoBI)
