Altic is a French assembler specialized in Open Source Software. Since 2004, the company has given its customers an open alternative in terms of Business Intelligence Software, e-Commerce and Web portals. It assists them to implement open source Business & Management Solutions (SpagoBI, JasperReports, PaloBI, Magento, Quotero, Exo, Joomla) in existing Information Systems. Fabio D'Ovidio Fabio D'Ovidio is Telecommunications Engineer and expert in WebGIS and Geospatial solutions, especially in the open source domain. He currently works at Valuelab, with a focus on Location Intelligence. He has worked at Inova as Location Intelligence Unit Manager, driving the company to the leadership of the GeoBI initiative. In these last years, he has committed himself to the development of software solutions combining WebGIS and BI tools, through open standards and open source licenses.He worked with other partners, such as Camptocamp, GeoSOA Research Group, Spatialytics.org and Engineering Group to start the research activities on Location Intelligence (now Fabio D'Ovidio blog). In particular, he participated in the development of a JEE compliant toolkit, supporting the cartographic reporting and the spatial OLAP. In addition to participating in the development of the GeoReport project and of the SpagoBIGeoReportEngine, Fabio has been leader of the GeoBI Initiative and member of the GeoBI Technical Committee. Moreover, he has managed business activities at Inova, supporting the development of Geospatial solutions. He was team leader in various projects for the public administration and private organizations. As business developer, he works with other companies in the Location Intelligence domain to find out new opportunities and strategic partnerships.(See details) |
