SpagoWorld initiatives

GeoBI initiative belongs to the SpagoWorld initiatives, which are joint efforts by different actors (companies, organizations, individuals) aiming at creating an open community whose primary scope is to cooperate in oder to:

• investigate research, development and business opportunities in a specific IT field
• develop new technologies and facilitate their adoption by integrators, vendors and end-users
• promote open standards and open source adoption
• help the construction of business synergies between its members.
  

All the aspects of internal and external communications on the initiative are regulated by trust and transparency.

Therefore, any initiative has its own Initiative Charter, describing its vision, scope, organization, governance and operations.
Any initiative member must agree on the contents of the Initiative Chapter.
SpagoWorld Community provides the environment, the effort and the support, in order to facilitate the initiative start-up and make it successful over time.
