SpagoBI and Engineering Group play a leading role in OW2Con 2011, the third edition of OW2 annual conference, offering two days of high-level technical presentations around open source middleware technologies and software applications.
Stefano Scamuzzo, SpagoBI International Manager, chairs the OW2 BI Initiative session, aiming to demonstrate how OW2 Business Intelligence solutions offer effective answers to the current technological and market challenges. The session, introduced by Philippe Nieuwbourg, freelance journalist and founder of the Decideo.fr community, includes SpagoBI, JasperSoft, Talend, Actian (the former Ingres) and Altic.

Finally, the co-located "Open Source Innovation Catalyst track" includes the presentation of the "Open Source Innovation Factory", a new research activity carried out by SpagoBI team in collaboration with the University of Milan, aiming at the realization of a new analytical solution allowing to monitor the level of innovation in enterprise production processes.
